To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products, such as special orders or personalized items. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Quickly expand your Kuat NV Base 2.0 2” bike rack for your car to achieve a 3- or 4-bike carrying capacity with our NV Base 2.0 1-Bike or 2-Bike Add-Ons. They’re all tough, all black, and all the rack you’ll need to max out your cycling adventures and your circle of friends.

Conceived for road trips, family group rides, and expeditions in the backcountry, we took our matte black hitch rack buddy and expanded it. Our NV family of Add-Ons have impressive features worth noting when you’re looking for a 3-bike or 4-bike hitch rack for your vehicle.

The 1-Bike Add-On increases the 2” NV Base 2.0 to a 3-bike hitch rack that will carry bikes, including electric bikes, weighing up to 50 pounds per tray. Similarly, the 2-Bike Add-On increases the 2” NV Base 2.0 to a 4-bike hitch rack that will carry bikes, including electric bikes, weighing up to 40 pounds per tray. Attach our Bike Ramp (sold separately) and make loading and unloading heavy electric bikes effortless. On top of that, both Add-Ons will hold wheelbases up to 50” and tires as large as 5”.

Just like the NV Base 2.0 2-bike hitch rack, the Add-Ons have integrated cable locks long enough to fit any frame and keep your extra bikes safe and secure while in tow.

¹ Must be a chassis mounted hitch receiver. Must be less than 64” distance from the center of the rear axle to the center of the hitch pin hole.

Always check the User Guide and specifications for any change in weight capacity dependent on use. Hitch extenders and adapters should not be used when mounting the rack to an RV. Please refer to Kuat’s RV & Off-road Limitations for more information.

PEDAL PIVOT	Fold your NV Base 2.0 up or down with the convenient patented foot pedal.
INTEGRATED CABLE LOCKS	Integrated cable locks—long enough to reach most frames—can be looped through the rear triangle to help keep the bike secure. When not in use, they stow neatly back into the rack with a magnetic hold. One cable lock per tray.
TRAIL DOC	Part of the reason we call it the NV Base 2.0 is because it doesn't come equipped with the Trail Doc. If you want to add the Trail Doc later, you can. The matte black Trail Doc can be purchased as an accessory and added at any time. And, just because it's the base version of our NV 2.0 doesn't mean it's basic. Trust us.
ELECTRIC BIKE COMPATIBLE	This bike rack is all metal and can safely transport bikes and electric bikes weighing up to 60 lbs. per tray. With just one tap, the pneumatic arms open wide and grab your bike tire perfectly, with no contact with the frame.
