Each order of an e-bike will be delivered in one package with components including battery as shown on the web.

Shipping time

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

Delivery Time = Processing Time + Shipping Time.

Add the processing time to the shipping time for an estimate as to when you will receive your order.

If your order includes several products, the estimated shipping time will depend on the product that takes the longest. We do not separate orders, nor do we separate combo products and ship them before the estimated shipping time. If you want to receive products individually as soon as they are available, please order them separately.

Shipping services

Order from North America will be shipped by FedEx.  We are unable to ship to PO Boxes. Due to air transportation restriction, it is recommended to purchase no more than two batteries per order. For orders from areas such as Alaska, Hawaii,or the central mountainous regions, delivery time will be relatively longer.

Check the package and signature

As HJM products are generally quite valuable, a signature will be required upon delivery of any order valued at $300 or higher. Any person in the household can sign for the delivery. Before that, please check the package upon delivery carefully. If it’s damage or deformed, do not sign the delivery or open the package. Instead, please contact HJM Support in a timely manner. Once you (or someone else on your behalf) signs for the item, HJM will consider it as your acceptance of the package. To protect your rights, you are highly recommended to shoot a complete unboxing video and check the items according to the packing list. If some item is missing or damaged, please contact HJM Support team within 24 hours after you receive the package so that we can resolve the problem immediately.

Shipping Notices

When you place an order, be sure to enter the correct name, address, and contact information so that we can deliver your items successfully. And you are suggested to confirm your delivery information again before payment.

In case you enter a wrong address or want to change the address, please contact HJM Support in a timely manner .If it has been shipped out, we will contact logistics company to update the address. Anyway, we cannot guarantee that your order will be delivered to the new address. In addition, you are responsible for all possible risks and expenses caused by changing the address after it shipped.

HJM assumes no responsibly for delayed or rejected orders due to the following reasons:

shipping time might be delayed for 1-5 busniess days for transportation to remote regions.Delay or delivery failure because of the consignee’s actions. These actions includes, but are not limitedto：changing the address after shipment, entering an unknown address or wrong address, entering incorrect contact information, andrefusal to accept delivery of the product, etc.Delay due to force majeure.”Force majeure”means an unforeseen, inevitable, or insurmountable objective situation and other objective conditions that cause delayed shipping, including, but not limited to: national or regional air or ground transportation system controls or interruptions (e.g., weather reasons), communication system interference or malfunction, government actions, postal administration policy changes, wars, earthquakes, typhoons, floods, fires, heavy rain, heavy fog, epidemic,and other similar events.Aviation contraband mobile phones, electronic products, fragile products, and other products that are unavailable for air freight service due to aviation security regulations.Shipments that are confiscated or disposed of due to a violation of transportation regulations.Mailsorpackages can’t be delivered to the consignee’s address during weekends, national holidays, festivals, etc.The consignee address is a school, unit, or residential community where the courier has no access.

HJM bike aim is to provide products with high quality and durability and we believe you will feel good with it. Also, you can apply for our product warranty service if there is a performance failure during the effective warranty period.The rights and claims arising from this warranty are in addition to your statutory rights. As a matter of principle, we grant a limited warranty of 2-year or 1500 miles after receiving the order. Our e-bikes are warranted to be free from manufacturer defects in materials and/or workmanship as details stated below:

2 years or 1500 miles after receiving the order.

This warranty is only apply to the original owner and can’t be transferred to any subsequent owner or user. The original owner refers to the buyer on HJM website.

Covered products

This warranty applies only to products, parts & components that have been manufactured, assembled, or sold in new condition by HJM .

The limited warranty applies only to replacement and/or repair of a lithium ion battery, frame, forks, stem, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, crank set, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, kickstand and reflectors in case of manufacturer defects in materials and/or workmanship, and subject to any and all exclusions, limitations, and procedures explained below.  

Warranty exclusion

The battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance or other misuse, normal wear or water damage.Accidents or other circumstances beyond the control of the manufacturer.Damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual.Repairs by third parties or repairs in a workshop not authorized by the manufacturerNatural wearand tearparts, including without limitation tires, tubes, brake pads, cables and housing, grips, chain and spokes.The serial number of e-bike frame has been changed, removed or made illegible.The warranty claimedby anyone other than the original buyer.Other conditions not listed here but not covered by warranty.

Warranty Claims Process

Keep the original package just in case you need to ship the item for warranty.Proof of purchase must be shown upon any warranty request .Don’t attempt to repair or replace it by yourself before contacting us, or you may invalidate your warranty and cause additional damage.Take photos or video of the damaged part clearly so that we can provide appropriate suggestions and make further plan to solve the problem.The freight for shipping to the customerswill be borne by HJM, and the customer is responsible for the freight of shipping back to HJM warehouse if any.Our customer support team will process your warranty request in 1-2 busniess days.Warranty should be initiated via email at support@hjmbike.com.

Shipping Damage Claims

IMMEDIATELY inspect your product for damage. Shipping damage claims are extremely time sensitive. We only accept shipping damage claims within 3 days after receiving the product. Take pictures of any damage that is found and date the images when possible. Keep all packaging and paperwork until the inspection process is complete. Please contact our customer support team at: support@hjmbike.com.

30 Days or 10-Mile Risk-Free Trial Ride

HJM e-bikes are of high quality and helpful for your daily life. We offers trial ride for any e-bike risk-free for up to 30 days or 10-miles. Simply contact us to return your bike within 30 calender days of receiving and pay shipping back to our warehouse. HJM will refund the full amount deducting applicable shipping fees.

If the HJM e-bike you purchased does not meet or exceed your expectations, contact our customer service to see if you are eligible for a return. We only authorize the return if you are within 30 calender days of receiving and the e-bike has less than 10-miles on its digital odometer, is still in “new” condition, and is packaged in its original materials and box with all components included.

HJM identifies “new condition” as the e-bike must be completely free from damage, dirt, dust, scratches, fragrances, etc. and have less than 10-miles on the odometer. 

1. Return & Refund process

If you would like to apply for a return and refund, please contact us within 30 calendar days of receiving your product(s).

Contact HJM supportat support@hjmbike.com using the email you registered on our website to apply for a return and refund, providing the following information:

  1) Order Number;
  2) Registered Email;
  3) Return Product Name & Quantity;
  4) Return Reason;
  5) Dated images or Videos of Products and Intact Packaging.

After receiving our Return & Refund Service confirmation, ship the item in original package with a carrier that provides tracking number within 7 calendar days.

Once the returned item passed inspection, the return will be processed deducting the applicable fees within 1-2 business days.

2. Return & Refund Service will not be provided where:

Return the package back to HJM without authorization by HJM;Beyond 30 calendars days of receiving the product.A product sent to HJM for Return & Refund Service does not include all original accessories, attachments or packaging, or any item is not in new or like-new condition, i.e. with cracks, dents or scratches.A legal proof of purchase, receipt or invoice is not provided or is reasonably believed to have been forged or tampered with.Any fault or damage of the product is caused by unauthorized use or modification of the product, including exposure to moisture, entry of foreign bodies (water, oil, sand, etc.) or improper installation or operation.Product labels, serial numbers, waterproof marks, etc. show signs of tampering or alteration.Damage is caused to the product by uncontrollable external factors, including fire, floods, high winds or lightning strikes.A product is not delivered to HJM within 7 calendar days after Return & Refund Service confirmation is sent from HJM.Other circumstances stated in this policy.

3. Refund Time

Refunds will be processed to your original account with which you made payment. The refund process will be completed in about 7-14 business days, depending on the bank or credit card issuer.

4. Coupons and HJM Credit Refunds

After the order has been refunded, the coupons and HJM Credits will be refunded to your account and can be used again within the effective dates.

5. Return Shipping

Customers need to pay for any return shipping to the designated warehouse (including cross-border and international shipping costs, if applicable) .

Q:Is it easy to assemble the e-bike?

A:Yes. Each HJM Ebike is complete 90% pre-assembled. Use the configured tools to complete the remaining assembly operations according to the easy-to-follow manual. You can also find how-to videos on the HJM Youtube channel.

Q:What is the waterproof rating on HJM E-Bike? Can I ride it in the rain?

A:All HJM e-bikes are IP65 rated. However, we do not recommend riding in the rain for your safety. Wipe Ebike dry as soon as possible to ensure optimum use.

Q:Which terrain type is suitable for this e-bike?

A:With all-terrain tire features and a powerful motor, HJM Toury series perform excellently in flat city streets, suburban gravel roads, or sandy beaches.

Q:What class of e-bike is? Do I need a driver's license?

A:No. HJM Ebike is a class 2 e-bike, you do not need a license for the ride. But the specifics are subject to local regulations.

Q:How far can I go on a single charge?

A:Generally, when fully charged, the riding distance can reach more than 55 miles. When the rider weight is 78kg（172 lb）, the real riding distance in the suburbs can reach 76 miles. However, the actual range depends on various factors such as terrain types, wind, and load.

Q:Can this e-bike still function as a regular bicycle when the battery runs out?

A:Yes. However, we recommend checking the battery status regularly to have the best riding experience.

Q:When does the 30-day free trial ride start? Will I be responsible for shipping if I return it during this period?

A:The first day of the 30-day trial period is the day you sign for the package. Return shipping within 30 days will be borne by HJM.

Q:What is the top speed of this bike?

A:The top speed of throttle-only mode is 20mph. This data is the result that the rider, 176.4lbs, rides the ebike on a flat road when the weather is sunny and breezy.
