    Expandable Home Backup Power

A single DELTA Max unit packs a 2kWh capacity that is expandable up to 6kWh with DELTA Max smart extra batteries. This means when a blackout hits, you can continue to power your important home devices such as your fridge and lights for hours on end.

    Convenient & Fast Dual Charging

DELTA Max charges up safely and rapidly from 0-80% in just 65 minutes. And it gets even better. If you’re looking for an even faster way to charge up DELTA Max, you can combine AC with the smart generator to get up to 3400W, AC with solar to get up to 2600W, or the Smart Generator with solar to get up to 2600W.*

Power 99% Of Your Home Devices

With EcoFlow’s X-Boost technology, DELTA Max can power heavy-duty devices up to 3400W. That means during a power outage or blackout, you can continue to power your fridge, dryer, and more. That’s the industry gold standard for a portable power station of this size and capacity.

Harness The Power Of The Sun

DELTA Max connects with up to 2x 400W EcoFlow solar panels to deliver 800W Max solar charging speeds. With a voltage range from 11-100V and the MC4 connector, you can also connect other solar panels to your DELTA Max. Even during cold or cloudy days, our smart maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm automatically detects voltage and current in real-time to give you optimum solar generation throughout the day.

    Emergency Backup Power

Disasters can occur at any time of the year, sometimes lasting longer than we ever expected. When extended blackouts hit, the EcoFlow Smart Generator serves as an emergency option that integrates with DELTA Max. It auto-starts when your DELTA Max hits a low level of charge, recharges your DELTA Max, and stops the engine all by itself once your DELTA Max hits a full charge. This gives you a reliable emergency backup option that relies on minimum use of a generator.

*DELTA Max needs to be connected to the DELTA Max Smart Extra Battery for dual charging.

Please use the AC Charging Cable included in the package for fast charging. Do not use other cables to charge. Plug directly into an AC wall outlet and make sure that the wall output current is more than 15A. Otherwise, reduce the unit charging speed with the AC Charge Speed Switch. EcoFlow takes no responsibilities for any consequences caused by failures to follow instructions, including but not limited to charging with other AC charging cables.

    Q & A

Q: How many solar panels can I use at the same time with DELTA Max?

A: It depends on the total voltage and watts of solar panels you choose. As long as the solar panels use MC4 connector and its voltage and current are under 11-100V, 10A max range

Q: What are the input for DELTA Max?

A: When charging DELTA Max and its extra battery together, you can reach 3600W max charging speeds by combining any two methods of AC, solar and Smart Generator. For DELTA Max single unit, you can recharge it at standard wall outlets (1800W max), or combine AC and solar charging to reach max 2000W charging speeds.

Q: How does the Emergency Power Supply (EPS) work? And how fast is it?

A: When your portable power station is plugged into the wall, any electronics plugged into it are powered from the grid and not its battery. When power from the grid stops, as in a blackout, the power station automatically switches to battery power within 30ms.

Q: What is the water-resistance rating for this product?

A: DELTA Max is not water-resistance, so it should be kept away from liquids. Or if you're looking for water-resistance solution, you can purchase the DELTA Max case to water-resistance protection.

Q: What is the charge time 0-80% using ONLY the single AC input, no dual modes? What is the time to 100%? Assume no load on the battery while charging.

A: If you want to charge DELTA Max (US version) using only AC it will charge from 0-80% in 65 minutes and it will charge from 0-100% in 1.8hrs.

Q: Can you use this in the house?

A: Yes. Because it is solar powered, there are no fumes.

Q: What is the power of the Delta Max without the X boost?

A: DELTA Max's AC output is always fixed at 2400W total (Surge 5000W) for the US version, whether X-Boost is turned on or not.
X-Boost doesn't increase the AC output of DELTA Max. X-Boost lowers the voltage to be able to run the devices that require more than 2400W but not more than 3400W.
Please keep in mind that X-Boost is not applicable for all electrical appliances; it’s incompatible with appliances with strict voltage requirements and appliances with voltage protection (such as precise instruments)

Q: How long does it take to charge with each solar panel?

A: If you are using EF110W solar panel we don't suggest you use 1 or 2 sets of it as it will take a very long time to charge the unit fully. We suggest using minimum 3 sets. If you use 3 sets of EF 110W solar panel it will take 7.5-15 hrs, and if you use 4 sets of EF 110W solar panel it will take 5.6-11.2 hrs.
As for using EF160W solar panel to fully charge the unit, if you use 1 set it will take : 17-34 hrs, if you use 2 sets it will take : 8.5-17 hrs, if you use 3 sets it will take :5.6-11.2 hrs, and if you use 4 sets it will take : 4.2-8.4 hrs.
Lastly if you choose to use EF 400W solar panels, we only suggest to use 1 or 2 sets but not more than that as it doesn't support more than 2 solar panels input. Using 1 set of EF 400W solar panel will charge the unit in: 6.3-12.6 hrs, and using 2 sets will charge it in : 3.2-6.3 hrs.
Please keep in mind the solar charging time provided above is only applicable to EF solar panels and if you are using a different band of solar panels the timing will vary.

Q: How many (and which type) of solar panels would you recommend for the Delta Max? Two? Or more?

A: For the fastest charging time, we suggest 2 sets of EF 400W panels, as they will be able to charge it within 3.2-6.3 hrs. Using one set of EF 400W panel will double the time to 6.3-12.6 hrs.
But you can also use 3 sets of EF 160W which can charge the power station within 5.6-11.2 hrs. or use 4 sets of EF 160W to charge within 4.2-8.4 hrs.
You can also consider using 3 sets of EF 110W panels (7.5-15 hrs.) or 4 sets of EF 110W panels (5.6-11.2 hrs), but it will take more time to fully charge the power station.

Q: How long is the life expectancy of the battery’s?

A: DELTA Max has a shelf life of 1 year (after a full charge), which means that if you fully charge it and just turn it off and leave it without using, it will last a year without loosing its capacity. As for its cycle life, it's 800 cycles to 80% capacity

Q: Does the Delta Max have UPS or EPS capacity to operate in the event power goes out?

A: DELTA Max can function as EPS, so when you connect the grid power to the AC Input Port of DELTA Max through an AC Charging cable, you can power electrical devices through the AC Output Sockets (AC power will come from the grid and not the power station in this situation). In case of a sudden blackout, the product can automatically switch to the battery powered supply mode within 30ms. Please keep in mind that this a basic UPS function, this function does not support 0ms switching. Please do not connect the product to any device that requires 0ms UPS, such as data servers and workstations

Q: What’s the difference in the delta 1300 and the delta max?

A: DELTA Max has a higher capacity (2016Wh) and AC output (2400W total) than DELTA (1260Wh). Also DELTA Max support Wi-Fi and dual charging, which mean you can connect it to the EF app to control it and you can use 2 different input methods to speed up its charging time. But DELTA doesn't support Wi-Fi nor dual charging.
DELTA is smaller and lighter than DELTA Max, so it's easier to move it around.
Both DELTA and DELTA Max have NCM batteries, with 800 cycles to 80%+ capacity.

Q: Is the battery plain lithium or a LiFePO battery?

A: DELTA Max's battery is NCM (Lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxides).

Q: Will the EcoFlo Delta Max power up a 5000 BTU window a/c or a small space heater?

A: Yes, 5000 BTU uses 300 watts on low and 580 watts on high. It will pull “surge” 1000-1200 watts when the kompressor starts up in 120 Degree Weather, with 50% Humidity.

Q: How many charge cycles with Ecoflow Delta Max? . Can a battery be added? Charge time of 80% from zero?

A: DELTA Max has 800 cycles to 80% capacity, and you can add DELTA Max Smart Extra Battery to it. If you recharge it through its AC input then it goes 0-80% in 65 min,0-100% in 1.8 hrs (1800W Max) for the US version. And it goes 0-80% in 80 min,0-100% in 2 hrs (1500W Max) for JP version. And it goes 0-80% in 1 hour,0-100% in 1.6 hrs (2000W Max) for 220-240V version
